Juz' nak share, apa perasaan saya malam nie.. Masih banyak tempahan perlu dibuat. Semuanya customer nak ambik awal pagi esok. Waktu sekarang jam 11.12 malam. Hmm.. Namun, hati dirundung kesedihan yang amat sangat, dek kerana diri sendiri yang terlalu suka sangat nak tolong orang.. Especially customer, yang kutahu, perlu buat sesuatu ikut budget yang telah disediakan.. Telah kutuliskan kat sidebar tu, bertahun.. Sejak dari awal blog ini dibuka. Nyatakan budget anda, akan kuusahakan sebaik mungkin..

Customer nie telah deal dgn saya beberapa bulan yang lalu.. Tempahan untuk majlis perkahwinan. She wanted muffin as the doorgift, cheese cakes, 2stack cake for cutting cake and also cupcakes... Well...

Me : My standard doorgift muffin is rm60 per 100pcs with only this size (I showed her my doorgift muffin papercup).

At the same time, I brought 1 packet of big sized muffins which cost rm1 per pcs..

She : How about this muffin? (Showing the big sized muffin before me).

Me : It's rm1 per pcs. Bulk order, rm80 per 100..

She : Well.., no discount anymore?

Then I looked at my husband's face..

Me : Errmm... well., rm70, 100pcs. Deal?

She : Hmm... Can u consider with rm60??

Whatt..?????!!

Me : Errrmmm...... Well.., it is fixed. The small one is rm60 per 100pcs.

She : But I want the big one... Plz, sis??

As I am the easy-going type, so I pleased.. But... Something playing in my head... Hesitatedly I said yes.. I dunno why, but maybe because I just want to "HELP". Well.., I sell things because of "HELP".. But now it seems it became a disease to me... (Disease????)

Me : Well... errmmm... o...k....

Then everything went juz' like that. I dunno why I said ok.. Then I counted the cost continuously finding the best recipe with small cost to fix the price... Hmmm...

A few days ago I called her back.

Me : Hello, I juz' want to ask, would you like if we change the size. Juz' take the regular sized of doorgift muffin, it's rm60 per 100pcs, but I'll give u discount.. rm55 per 100pcs...

She : Why? Well.., I want the big sized one...

Me : Well.., it's hard for me to find the cup (while I got it but the cost making me drowning), and you know, everything's increasing..

She : I'll call you later. Okay?

Me : Okay.

Hoping that she'll agree with my suggestion, though... After a few times she hadn't called.. Than, I made a call for her.

Me : Hello miss.., have you think about my suggestion earlier? What do you think?

She : I want the big one...

Still!!

Me : Well miss.., if you want the big one, than, you must add a little amount of rm0.10 for every pcs... Means, it's rm70 per 100pcs..

She : Hmmm... What about rm65??

Huhh... I think rm80 per 100pcs is the cheapest ever.. I gave rm70 per 100pcs for her so I think she'll agree as I think she don't have a lot of money for a good wedding day.. My head than thinking that there's one way to solve it.. But the end product won't turn out that good.. Well.., you'll get what you've paid...

Me : Hmm... O..K... laa.... How about the 2 stack cake?

I've made the cake..

She : Cancel the cake.

Me : But, I've made it..

She : Well.., the cake is cancelled..

I was about to tell her about the end product won't turn out well.., but something stopped me.. I don't feel like it.. As I don't want her to be dipressed.
After the muffins finished, I tried a few of them.. It's just the same of taste, but there's something different with the texture.. Something lacking.. Well.., it happened because of the cost.. Anyway, the taste is still edible. Much better than using the cheapest ingredients.. I never use the cheapest.. Still the same label..
Thanks to my neighbors for the help (I paid them).

Then a few hours ago I delivered the muffins to her. I used 2 cars for 1000pcs of muffins.
Well.., I know I make the delivery with an old car, which is in the same age of me.. I know I used an old clothes continuously, I know my son always in old clothes too.. Sometimes it's teared here and there... That things gives people the 1st perception they will judge.. They'll do as they are the boss because they are much, much, much better than me...

A few minutes later I got a call from her family.. Telling me about unsatisfying for my muffins..

They : Sorry, but the sample we've ate wasn't the same like this.. You must get here back and see, and taste it..

Me : Sir, I've the a few of the muffins, they were all fine, maybe the texture is a lil bit different.. Sir, muffins won't be the same like cakes..

They : Yes, I know.. But it taste not like this.. No matter what, u must turn back now..

Me : No, sir.. I got a lot of things to do.. I still have a few cakes to be decorated. I can't go to your place.

They : If you can't than I will go to your place.

Me : No, sir. If you come than, I still cannot entertain you. I have a lot of things to do... A lot of cakes to be finished.

They : Then, u should come back here!

Me : Sir, I am not that crazy to turn back there as my place and your place is not that near! Don't make fool on me. What do you think I am, sir??! What do you think I am??? I got certificate too! I've been in university too! I used to be a junior engineer too! I used to be the planner too! But I've quit everything as I want to bake cake!!!! Tq!

Then I off the phone...

Then I sent the daughter a message :
"Sorry for being rude, but I've made things on demand of customers.. I gave the price for bulk order (which you saved rm30) but u want it cheaper than that, and even cheapest.. I've tried to find a way to make it cheap, and I know it will turn like that.. Now you blame me for this.. Well.., this is the muffin of rm0.65 as you want.. the best at the price.. don't regret, you want it that cheap..."

Then she messaged me :
"I understand you want a big profit out of it, but please not that much.. If you want it more, why don't you just give us "raw flour"? Just eat the illegal money.. Thank you.

Then I replied :
Miss.., I've been sincere all this while to sell things cheapest from others.. Just go and ask, where can you find the big muffin price in bulk less than rm100 for 100pcs? But I did it. I've set rm80 for 100pcs.. I sincere. That's why I've asked you to change the size, but you insisted. I've count everything, the muffins you bought profited me less than rm0.10 each.. I've set price the minimum as I can. I just pleased you said I eat the illegal money. I used the best ingredients but people always take advantage as I am the easy-going type. Now I've learned something new, the price has to be fixed. Anyway, congratulations and thank you.
